Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 19 April 2026
This acceptable use policy (“AUP”) sets out the rules for using the VeriDraw platform and forms part of our Terms of Service. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP.
1. Lawful use only
You must use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your draws are lawful, properly licensed (where required), and conducted in accordance with all applicable codes of practice.
VeriDraw provides certification and verification tools. It is your responsibility to determine whether your draw requires a licence, registration, or regulatory approval. VeriDraw does not provide legal advice and is not affiliated with any regulatory authority.
2. Prohibited uses
You must not use the Service to:
- Operate draws that are illegal in your jurisdiction or the jurisdiction of your entrants
- Conduct gambling activities that require a licence you do not hold
- Defraud, mislead, or deceive entrants about the nature, odds, or prizes of a draw
- Create fake or misleading certificates, or misrepresent the verification status of a draw
- Upload content that is defamatory, obscene, hateful, or that infringes the intellectual property rights of others
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users’ accounts or any part of the Service infrastructure
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service (except to the extent permitted by law)
- Use the Service to send spam, phishing messages, or other unsolicited communications
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service in a manner that degrades performance for other users
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our written permission
3. Draw integrity
VeriDraw’s certification depends on accurate information. You must provide truthful and accurate data when creating and running draws, including the number of tickets sold and the number of prizes. Entering false data undermines the integrity of the certification and may result in account termination.
4. Content standards
Any content you upload to the Service (such as your organisation name, logo, draw names, and prize descriptions) must be accurate, lawful, and must not infringe the rights of any third party. We reserve the right to remove content that violates this AUP.
5. API and widget usage
If you access the Service via API or embed VeriDraw widgets on your website, you must not modify, obscure, or remove VeriDraw branding or attribution. You must not use the API in a way that could compromise the security or availability of the Service. We may rate-limit or suspend API access if usage patterns are abusive or excessive.
6. Reporting violations
If you become aware of any use of the Service that violates this AUP, please report it to hello@veridraw.co.uk.
7. Enforcement
We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against anyone who violates this AUP, including suspending or terminating accounts, removing content, and reporting illegal activity to law enforcement. We may take these actions without prior notice.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
