Terms of Service

Last updated: 19 April 2026

These terms of service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the VeriDraw platform, including the website at veridraw.co.uk, the dashboard, APIs, certificates, widgets, and all related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Definitions

“VeriDraw”, “we”, “us”, or “our” refers to the operator of the VeriDraw platform. “You” or “your” refers to the individual or entity accessing the Service. “Operator” means a user who creates and manages draws. “Entrant” means a participant in an Operator’s draw who views or verifies a certificate.

2. Nature of the Service

VeriDraw is a verification and certification layer for prize draws. It provides cryptographic proof that a draw result was generated fairly. VeriDraw does not operate, manage, promote, or fund prize draws. VeriDraw does not sell tickets, hold prize funds, or act as a lottery operator or promoter.

You are solely responsible for the lawful operation of your draws, including compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, codes of practice, licensing requirements, and advertising standards in your jurisdiction.

3. No regulatory affiliation

VeriDraw is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the UK Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS), the Gambling Commission, or any other government body or regulatory authority. References to the DCMS code of practice or any regulatory framework on the Service are provided for informational context only and do not constitute legal advice, regulatory guidance, or a guarantee of compliance.

VeriDraw’s compliance reports are informational documents based on data you provide. They do not carry regulatory weight and do not substitute for independent legal or compliance advice. You are solely responsible for ensuring your draws comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

4. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Demo and paid plans

New accounts can explore the platform via a free demo account, which includes a limited set of pre-populated draws and full access to all features. Demo accounts are for evaluation purposes only and are not intended for real draws. After exploring the demo, you must subscribe to a paid plan to create your own draws. Your existing certificates and draw records remain accessible regardless of your subscription status.

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected. You may cancel at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

6. Acceptable use

Your use of the Service is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Intellectual property

All content, code, design, trademarks, and other intellectual property in the Service belong to VeriDraw or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service except as expressly permitted. You retain ownership of any content you upload (such as your organisation name and logo).

The VeriDraw name and logo appear on all certificates as a trust signal and verification mark. This branding may not be removed, obscured, or altered.

8. Certificates and data

Certificates are published at permanent public URLs. Once a certificate is issued, the draw data it contains (winning ticket number, block hash, secret key, formula) is public and cannot be retracted. You acknowledge this before running a draw.

We take reasonable steps to keep certificates available but do not guarantee permanent uptime. You are encouraged to retain your own records of draw data.

9. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VeriDraw shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of the Service, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to VeriDraw in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Without limiting the above, VeriDraw is not liable for any losses, damages, claims, or disputes arising from the outcome of any draw, including but not limited to disputes between Operators and Entrants, prize fulfilment, ticket sales, or any regulatory action taken against an Operator. VeriDraw certifies draw results; it does not guarantee, insure, or underwrite draws.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless VeriDraw and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service, your draws, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or regulation.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Certificates that have already been issued will remain publicly accessible.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. General

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Acceptable Use Policy and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and VeriDraw regarding the Service and supersede all prior discussions, representations, or agreements.

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

No waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of that right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing to be effective.

15. Contact
